Welcome to the website of the Queanbeyan City Brigade of the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.  Queanbeyan City is one of 22 brigades that make up the Lake George Zone, providing fire protection to the Local Government Areas of Palerang & Queanbeyan.  The Queanbeyan Brigade consists of approximately 45 members and 5 vehicles (3 fire fighting appliances and two support vehicles).  The Queanbeyan Brigade is classified as a Village 2 Brigade and is equipped with Breathing Apparatus.  Members also hold specialist qualifications in Aviation, Logistics and Remote Area Fire Fighting.
